"Note from the Pennsylvania Science Teachers Association in reference to the standards listed on the SAS website.  PSTA would like to call your attention to the fact that the standards that are referenced and offered on the Standards Aligned System website are a voluntary resource for  Pennsylvania 's schools in relationship to the SAS System and the Keystone State Test Blueprint.  The current standards that are are found under the"Teacher Resources" section on the PSTA Website are lawful (and mandatory under existing law)."
