Science Leadership Award

The Leadership in Science Education Award is presented by the Pennsylvania Science Teachers Association to an individual not actively involved in classroom teaching or an organization, which over a period of at least five (5) years, has made outstanding contributions in support of PSTA and individual members of PSTA. *

Nominations for this award must include:

  • a narrative describing the leadership role and initiatives of the nominee in science/science education;
  • a two-page (maximum) professional resume (for individuals only); and,
  • three (3) letters of support (at least one from a current classroom teacher).

 

The award consists of an appropriately engraved plaque and complimentary registration, meals, and a one day/night room at the convention at which the award is presented.

Application packets must be postmarked by September 1st
